Sri Lanka were bundled out for just 50 runs in the final of the 2023 Asia Cup, as India bowled them out for their lowest ever total in an ODI. Mohammed Siraj took six wickets for nine runs, while Hardik Pandya took three wickets for 20 runs.

Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat, but they were in trouble from the start. Siraj removed Kusal Mendis and Avishka Fernando in the first over, and then Pandya got rid of Charith Asalanka and Dhananjaya de Silva.
Sri Lanka never recovered from the early setbacks, and they were bowled out in just 19.1 overs. Siraj was the pick of the bowlers, but all of the Indian bowlers chipped in.
India needed just 51 runs to win, and they reached the target in just 8.3 overs. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan both scored half-centuries, and India won the match by 10 wickets.

This is India’s eighth Asia Cup title, and their first since 2018. They are now the most successful team in the history of the tournament.
