Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng will be arriving in Islamabad on Sunday for a three-day visit to Pakistan. During his stay, he will participate in the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
In addition to attending the celebrations, the Chinese Vice Premier has scheduled meetings with President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
He Lifeng is a key figure in China’s international economic relations and has played a vital role in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor being a prominent flagship project.
As the Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, he has been instrumental in planning and executing multiple CPEC projects in Pakistan.
The visit of Vice Premier He Lifeng is part of the regular high-level exchanges and dialogues between Pakistan and China, showcasing the significance both countries attach to further strengthening their All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, as stated by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch.
